I don't think of Yale as an ally of either Bush or Israel, so I'm surprised to hear they were to blame for Cole not getting an appointment at Yale in 2007.TSBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02790614121966204073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5803385070922797451.post-78673399378807648532011-06-18T17:38:52.039-07:002011-06-18T17:38:52.039-07:00TSB: I've been reading Juan daily since he sta...TSB: I've been reading Juan daily since he started. There definitely was an "uprising" against him led by neocons in 2007? that resulted in him not getting the Yale Professor job they had offered him. I didn't understand it at the time but I have always felt Juan was the most EFFECTIVE antiwar voice. This should be interesting! GO DIFI!! gwb
PS.. I thought it was weird in 2007 when Army access to JC was blocked.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5803385070922797451.post-90621695022883908752011-06-18T10:09:45.716-07:002011-06-18T10:09:45.716-07:00Did Cole say how that this dirt-digging manifested...Did Cole say how that this dirt-digging manifested itself? I find it hard to believe the whole 'the White House asked the CIA to spy on me' stuff. Hundreds of people have said that - Jesse Ventura actually claimed that surveillance satellites had been trained on him when he was Governor of Minnesota - but the evidence is always lacking.

Maybe Di Fi will bust the case wide open. But until then I can either believe that multiple administrations have spied on domestic opponents wholesale, even on those of no importance, and they were never caught at it except once (Ellsberg), or I can believe that the government has better things to do than spy on bloggers. I'll wait on Di Fi's committee report and decide then.TSBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02790614121966204073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5803385070922797451.post-11626421556564964332011-06-18T05:58:03.876-07:002011-06-18T05:58:03.876-07:00TSB: While you were gone (securing middle east pea...TSB: While you were gone (securing middle east peace!) we had the 44th
anniversary of the "Pentagon Papers".

We also had what may be this generation's equivalent event: "Bloggergate" ??
Feinstein: Senate Intel Committee May Investigate CIA Targeting of Cole (Picture big weather vane on barn with DF's determined face on it.) gwb

Posted on 06/18/2011 by JuanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
