All Chechens, Technically Speaking

So Czechs are aghast at the American public's confusion about the location of Chechnya. The Ambassador of the Czech Republic issued a statement today to plead for our understanding that these are two different countries, and to assure us that "the Czech Republic is an active and reliable partner of the United States in the fight against terrorism."

It pains me to admit it, but the Ambassador might as well give up. In times of public panic, technically, everybody from outside of America is a Chechen.

Thanks TSB: Until now Ithought Adm. General Aladeen was Borat. Thanks for the update. gwb

TSB: This looks like BS to me. It was flatly contradicted by the FBI last night: http://www.stratfor.com/analysis/boston-bombing-suspects-grassroots-militants-chechnya (They did not rob the convenience store.)
On the other hand, this makes more sense given the CIA's record of being outfoxed:
The Tsarnaev brothers were double agents who decoyed US into terror trap

Big Sis now has another amazing first on her DHS resume: The Texas fertilizer explosion was about 10 times bigger than the previous worst. (Toulouse France) I wonder if any of the other 6,000 locations aren't abiding the 400 lb limit?

TSB: The usual suspects are on the Sunday shows but I hear no mention of the obvious: The $$$ flowing to these guys. Who supplied it? What was bought with it? gwb

GWB: I'm not sure they needed much money to build the IEDs they used. They didn't have cash when they wanted to escape, but had to highjack a Mercedes driver and force him to make ATM withdrawals. Those two seemed to be self-funded.

Maybe it was one of those "recruit them, minimum training, little financial ties, turn them loose and see what our reaction wouldbe".

TSB: Lots of questions still, but 'The Roving Eye' has already assembled the many absurdities doled out by our gov. The description of the car hijacked by the brothers, a Mercedes E350 SUV, matches the description of their car left at a service station in Cambridge for two weeks prior to the bombing. A mechanic in Cambridge said Dzhokhar, Tamerlan's brother, picked up his "black Mercedes SUV" on Tuesday, the day after the marathon. The two cars may be one and the same; that blows up the whole official ''carjacking'' narrative. gwb

I think there really was a carjacking. The victim has been interviewed by the news media, and it was because he left his cell phone in the car that police could 'ping' it and get the car's location. The younger brother had a Mercedes of his own, but presumably he wouldn't want to use that when he was trying to leave town.
