I have struck a city - a real city - and they call it Chicago... I urgently desire never to see it again. It is inhabited by savages. Rudyard Kipling (Have a great day! gwb}
TSB: Here is my nom for most eyebrow raining 'UNHEADLINE OF THE WEEK'. I know there is no such word as unheadline but it irks me that at the Wednesday hearing on 'THE SURVEILLANCE TRANSPARENCY ACT OF 2013' only 2 members of the committee bothered to show up. The chairman and Jeff Flake. Funny how all these champions of total surveillance seem to be dodging the C-span cameras. (Thanks Snowden!) gwb
Al Franken, Minnesota, Chairman Dianne Feinstein, California Chuck Schumer, New York Sheldon Whitehouse, Rhode Island Chris Coons, Delaware Mazie Hirono, Hawaii Jeff Flake, Arizona, Ranking Member Orrin Hatch, Utah Mike Lee, Utah John Cornyn, Texas Lindsey Graham, South Carolina
