TSB: For me the issue of the day is this: "It Just Occurred To Me" - Trump Proposes Boycott Of Apple, While Tweeting From An iPhone

Moments ago during a campaign event in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Trump had an epiphany: "It just occurred to me." His solution: a boycott of Apple Inc products until the tech giant agrees to U.S. government demands that it unlock the cellphone of the San Bernardino killer. "Boycott Apple until such time as they give that information," Trump said.

John Mcafee explained today on MSNBC that any team of really skilled cyberexperts could take that phone apart, put the code inside on another device and decrypt everything on it in less than 3 weeks. But installing a backdoor on all I phone 6's opens them up to the whole world of hackers. (and we know what they have been up to) He said Stuxnet is high school stuff compared to this and the next world war is going to be won thru cyber war, not nuclear weapons.) So you can believe WH spokesman Josh Earnest or a guy who knows what he's talking about. I think Trump is going to win the election because this country is run by complete idiots. gwb

The Apple versus FBI fight is getting good. It turns out the phone's passcode was remotely reset by its owner - the California state gov't - while it was in FBI custody. If not for that, it might have been backed up to the Cloud and its contents read without the FBI needing extraordinary help from Apple.

TSB: I love this election! In the end I'll take Bernie or Trump but for now I'm a 3 issue candidate: 1. Education. 2.Trade agreements:NO! 3.Health Care: Kill Obamacare and replace it with a Bernie/Trump hybrid. (People who want the most expensive healthcare available need to pay for it; Everyone deserves access to basic care that is comprehensive and competitive and combine that with stop polluting the environment with stuff that causes cancer, diabetes, and all those connective tissue disorders. gwb PS: A win by either Trump or Bernie will be the first step towards reversing the media's strangle hold on access to information.

TSB: Re: "Hillary Clinton is the kind of person who could win a popularity contest "on a technicality." #Nevadacaucus

I love it that the Republican delegate count now looks exactly like the Drudge online polls right after every debate. They are 'predictive' on the Repub side. At the same time, because of supporting Obama Hillary is doomed because he reversed himself on everything he campaigned on and did it all in 'Clintonesqe' fashion (in secret). That well is dry!

TSB: Jeb did a lot Saturday to bring peace to the middle east. gwb (from Andy Borowitz of the New Yorker) I didn't see 'talkingheadssunday' today but I'm sure they all talked about it. lol

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-02-21/iraqis-celebrate-threat-3rd-bush-presidency-over
Baghdad - Thousands of Iraqis poured out into the streets to celebrate in the early hours of Sunday morning, as the threat of a third Bush Presidency was declared over at last.
Iraqis, on edge about the prospect of another Bush in the White House since former Governor Jeb Bush entered the race last year, had been watching returns from the South Carolina primary with a mixture of anxiety and cautious optimism.
(paraphrasing)
A Baghdad shoe maker said "Now we can begin to think about a future for our neighbors and our families." There were big celebrations all over the country. Of course, little do they know the plans the Republicans and Hillary have for them!

TSB:"If Everybody Doesn't Buck It, It's Gospel" That's VP bsJoe Biden on new polls showing more and more people feeling like the economy is getting worse and worse.

OH Lordy! Somebody please save us from all these negative narratives! And Claire McCaskell has breast cancer. Thank God she has free comprehensive medical care and expects to be cured in 3 weeks! gwb

TSB: I think it was either you or James who said Jeb! would drop out first. Congratulations to whoever saw that coming for the 'Joyful Turtle'! But who would have guessed he would have dropped out before spending $150 million dollars? including the contact lenses. He should have hit the hot salsa theme earlier and gone lighter on the 'Veto Corleone'.

Now it looks to me like Kasich and Trump will be the last 2 standing because Ted has to hang in there til he gets to roll out his 'shitkicker boots schtick' in Texas. Bernie's new blue sports coat and haircut this week look great! (I paid for the haircut!) I'm dying to see him roll through Texas to huge crowds explaining how we need a revolution in healthcare, trade policy, environment and education. gwb

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-02-22/what-could-go-wrong-saudis-want-give-surface-air-missiles-syrian-rebels
TSB: It looks like the Saudi's will use the 'cease fire' to supply ground to air missiles to their forces to allow them to shoot down Russians planes. THIS I HAVE TO SEE! gwb

TSB: Amen on the falling tree limbs! This is a great piece on the basis for all the election talkers being unable to grasp the reality of this year's election. They are all superbly educated 'experts' in class warfare with no real experience outside their own tiny class. Every candidate fits a narrative with a two word title ( eg Slick Willy/Lady MacBeth) except Trump.

The key is that Bernie probably can't beat Lady MacBeth in the rigged electoral scheme and the Republican race is all but over. But Bernie supporters are not going to vote for Lady MacBeth which means she is going to have to win without the (educated) white vote. This guy describes me perfectly! gwb

TSB: In a move likely to further increase already volatile tensions in the region, China has deployed fighter jets to a contested island in the South China Sea, the same island where China deployed surface-to-air missiles last week, two U.S. officials tell Fox News.

The dramatic escalation came as Secretary of State John Kerry hosted his Chinese counterpart, Foreign Minister Wang Yi, at the State Department.

Wang said Tuesday he hoped that “close up” military flights and patrols by U.S. Navy ships over the contested islands would end.
(Now I see how long it will take the Saudi's to put AA missiles in Syria to challenge the Russians. Looks like the war is right on schedule for April!) gwb

TSB: Tomorrow nite is Thursday nite football/sorry/conservative debate! I hear they are going to have Chris Christie in the booth with Brett Farve and Rush Limbaugh. (No podiums this time. Everyone has to wear shit-kickin outfits!) gwb

Here is your headline TSB: First member of congress endorses Trump!Chris Collins (R-NY) is endorsing Trump. He supported JEB! first so he's just the first rat to jump ship but Trump should do well in Erie County. (Of course I thought they said Chris Hollins which would really be something!)

TSB: That secret robe society at the Texas ranch sounds like exactly what Ted Cruz has been 'fighting for'! Somebody should ask Hillary what she would do about it. gwb
