TSB: I was thinking Bernie had made a tragic mistake in lying about being invited to the Vatican. Of course, I was thinking that because I had been watching Fox, Msnbc and CNN. So, on the advice of The Young Turks I checked with 'Mother Jones'. Turns out it was a brilliant move! gwb (And Bernie out raised $illary in March $183 million to $178 million)

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was invited to speak at an April 15 Vatican event by the Vatican, a senior papal official said on Friday....He said it was his idea to invite Sanders.

A Bloomberg report quoted Margaret Archer, president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, as saying that Sanders had broken with protocol by failing to contact her office first. "This is not true and she knows it. I invited him with her consensus," said [Monsignor Marcelo Sanchez] Sorondo, who is senior to Archer.
An invitation to Sanders dated March 30, which was emailed to Reuters, was signed by Sorondo and also included Archer's name.
Well then.

TSB: The best (IKE) quote I ever heard I heard in the last few days: "Plans don't matter. Planning is what matters." The USA stopped 'planning' many years ago.

For example: We could drive the price of gasoline down to $1 an hour with subsidies on ethanol, coal, tar sands. That would make everything cheaper to buy. The problem is debt and pollution. You would have to nationalize the energy industry. (Trump)

Another example is the fastest rising cost: healthcare. The largest insurer, United Health Care announced yesterday it will no longer provide Obamacare plans in Arkansas and Kentucky, it's 2 largest states. That means the next 4 largest companies will soon follow and by next year all the large health insurers will be out of the Obamacare market.

That will kill Bernie's plan for single payer. The worldwide depression is already here and nobody's 'PLAN' is going to stop it. Anyone who is hoping to survive the next few years based on the dollar is going to suffer a massive decline in their standard of living because they have been planning for a 30's style depression where a dollar would buy you something. In this one your dollar won't. (great article!) gwb
