Dalai Lama Tactical Tip Tuesday

So, when a problem first arises, try to remain humble and maintain a sincere attitude and be concerned that the outcome is fair. Of course, others may try to take advantage of you, and if your remaining detached only encourages unjust aggression, adopt a strong stand, This, however, should be done with compassion, and if it is necessary to express your views and take strong countermeasures, do so without anger or ill-intent.

You should realize that even though your opponents appear to be harming you, in the end, their destructive activity will damage only themselves. In order to check your own selfish impulse to retaliate, you should recall your desire to practice compassion and assume responsibility for helping prevent the other person from suffering the consequences of his or her acts.

Thus, because the measures you employ have been calmly chosen, they will be more effective, more accurate and more forceful. Retaliation based on the blind energy of anger seldom hits the target. - Tenzin Gyatso; The Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Compassion and the Individual

Now, this is trademark Dalai Lama wisdom. Does His Holiness know defensive gun use inside and out, or what?

Choose your measures calmly and they will be all the more effective, accurate, and forceful for it. Aim center mass. Consider. Then double tap if needed.

By following those steps, and acting only after due reflection upon your desire to practice compassion balanced with the responsibility you assume for protecting yourself and others, you will be well prepared to survive not just a violent encounter but also the legal consequences of using deadly force.

TSB: This is the one I find the most helpful of all.. after I've had a couple of days to cool down. It helps a lot to have some supportive people to talk to
who weren't involved. gwb

TSB: In keeping with the theme of this post I am against shooting public officials unless it is an officially sanctioned event. In Texas the rules are different of course. gwb

I think His Holiness would have you pay little regard to what is officially sanctioned. The morally responsible individual must be his own source of authority.

TSB: In an exclusive interview yesterday our ISIS-WATCH Chairwoman told me she is pretty sure the Republicans in congress will succeed in getting Trump to leave the race and replace him with Paul Ryan. I told her that couldn't possibly happen, no matter how bad Trump's poll numbers get.

I offered to bet $1 that Trump will win the election because the financial elites who run the world need Trump as a scapegoat so they can blame conservatives for the destruction of the world's economy and get the liberal majority to beg them to overthrow the current system. She declined.
Brexit was step 1 in their double punch plan and a failed Donald Trump Presidency will be #2 if he disregards the constitution and there are riots and looting Trump will be portrayed as the Hitler type he is already being accused of being. That's why so many conservatives are going crazy now and Trump is desperately trying to pander to them. Soros is the mastermind! gwb

TSB: It must have been so inspiring to work for a woman who is so charitable!

As reported earlier, the duo also donated $1 million to "charity", of which 96% went to the Clinton Foundation.

gwb (My favorite charity is me too!)

And the other four percent went to sponsor a golf tournament for the Clinton Foundation. It's a model of efficiency: raise money, give it to a charitable foundation that employs your family, and claim it as a tax deduction. What's called a 'self-locking ice cream cone.'

I worry that golf will never recover from all this "giving".

LoL TSB! And I'm still trying to claim $250 bucks from donating old clothes to the Goodwill. I can't even deduct my stolen hubcaps! gwb
