Most Eyebrow-Raising Headline of the Week

And the temperature was in the 20s

TSB: I enjoy seeing all our superstars of media, entertainment and politics having to resign on sex abuse charges while their hypocrite friends (DiFi)
defend them at first and then turn on them. What interests me more is the upcoming spike in the price of oil that Trump and Mattis don't seem to realize will bring the US economy to a complete halt.

Trying to keep US Troops in Syria and Iraq is a mistake but much worse is supporting the Saudi air war in Yemen. (aerial refueling of the planes, drone surviellance and precision munitions plus food blockade. As soon as the first missile is fired at a ship in the Gulf all traffic will stop because insurance companies will jack the rates so high no shipper can afford them.

IDK about the shipping insurance thing. Rates tripled after a French oil tanker was hit off Aden about 10 (?) years ago, but the industry adapted.

TSB: Further evidence why you can't trust doctors, especially after they get
themselves elected to something. Why Bob Corker changed his mind and supported the Republican tax bill in one simple chart: http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user3303/imageroot/2017/12/18/20171218_corker.jpg gwb Of course he's not a bitcoin billionaire like me!

TSB: A few months ago I was reading about these new AMTRAK engines. They were having trouble getting the speed controls to respond properly. Sometimes they would speed up when they were supposed to slow down. Speed at the time of the "accident" was 81mph just before a 35 mph curve. I figure the engineer slammed on the brakes and then everything behind him went flying by which must have been horrific for anyone back there. CNN expert is already blaming the crew (so we can probably rule that out).

Just another manic Monday! I'm guessing they will try to stick the passengers for the hospital bills and 50 % DEAD OR TOTALLY DISABLED and maybe 7 who will say they would do it again. Naturally, John McCain would say "It wasn't really that bad when you consider you have a chance to save 10 minutes gwb

TSB: Deadly Train Derailment Likely Caused By Object "Placed On The Tracks": AP: I'm anxious to see the research on how big an object placed on the track
it would take to derail this puppy at 80 mph and entering a turn.

What? They didn't think of that?? Why didn't they buy Japanese?? gwb

Skep,
Re: video. I didn't know you guys could wear white shoes to work.

James: When we're off the clock, it's anything goes. Wearing white after Labor Day, though, is always frowned upon.

I bet casual Fridays are interesting.

Never did go well with pin stripes.

Personally, I don't even wear a tie most days. I keep a tie and blazer in my office in case I have to go to the HQ or to some big meeting. Otherwise, it's casual Friday all week.

TSB,
You're right I don't see a tie. I apologize. Heh!
