Most Head Shakingly Bad Thing of the Week

"Cops bust turnstile jumper heading to court with pot and a loaded gun" - New York Post

Ex-con Billy Walters, 37, allegedly slipped through an emergency subway gate at the 149th Street station without paying at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest affidavit. When a police officer stopped him, she allegedly spotted a loaded .45-caliber Sig Sauer in his waistband — at which point he rattled off the worst excuse ever, the officer said. “I didn’t pay, because I was running late to go to court. I got arrested yesterday,” Walters allegedly blabbed to her.

He sounds like a perfect audience for Chris Rock's public service announcement

"If you jump a subway turnstile, you might just get off with a warning from the police. But if you jump a turnstile carrying a loaded gun and smoking a joint, then maybe you NEED your ass kicked."

TSB: The idea that Elizabeth Warren would be good with money got dented a little this week when a reporter asked her if her ethics reform platform would have allowed Biden's family to make all the money off his name. At first she said no and then realized you can't say that. She stuttered around for 10 seconds and then said I'll have to check my program and get back to you. The next day her spokesman said Biden had done nothing wrong. Since she spent $10 million on those ads its a shame we probably won't get to see them. gwb

The departure of that anti-White NYT Asian columnist surprised me. She came across as an amusingly dirty-mouthed little girl. I'm sure there's a market for her stuff somewhere.

TSB: Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin has said he was forced under pressure to terminate the investigation of the Burisma company, whose board member, Hunter Biden, at that time, was the son of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, according to Fox News.Shokin said he was told that Vice President Biden ordered that U.S. assistance to Ukraine be delayed.
Giuliani's notes, Fox News said, were transmitted to Congress by the U.S. State Department's Inspector General on Wednesday.
(Looks like Congress now has the evidence Rudy has been talking about. I'm sure Joe will now be called to testify.) gwb

Nadler has been sidelined in favor of Schiff as the face of the pre-impeachment hearings. There's no chance of Joe Biden or his son being called as witnesses so long as Pelosi avoids calling an actual impeachment vote; if she does, then the rules would allow Republicans to call for witnesses and documents, but until then, the normal committee rules apply and the minority side is powerless.

Trump is fighting this one mostly alone. When he calls for Ukraine or China to investigate whatever, he's really talking to the U.S. public and getting his message out despite the media.
