HRC: "Sometimes She Bought Cookies"

So Hillary is at the Aspen Ideas Festival today, and naturally she's keeping up her weird campaign cum book tour insistence about how poor and deprived she was, and how she's not truly well-off even today.

This time she touched my heart by relating how she sometimes bought cookies when entertaining foreign visitors. Yes, she did. She bought cookies, sometimes.

I share her pain. Sometimes I buy a Starbucks coffee traveler when hosting a meeting. So, I've sacrificed, too.  sniff ... pity me

The Aspen Ideas Festival isn't over yet. Check their Facebook page for live Hillary interviews. If you're lucky, you might catch her singing about how her mama used to dance for the money they'd throw.

  2. TSB: Sorry about the stuttering. This article is quite confusing but
it looks like all out war is about to break out over NSA'S right to crush any criticism of the Empire.
    James was right! gwb

  4. TSB:Yesterday I was out by the Columbia in 100 degree heat marching on Cairo with Napolean and mowing down Marmalukes with my Glock. Fortunately, I had water!

    Napolean, liberator of the Muslims.
WHAT A CONCEPT! Thanks TSB! gwb

  5. TSB:Maliki still can't get a quorum
of PM'S and not A shred of news since 6/24 (ISIS CLOSING ON HADITHA DAM.) We did land 4000 HELLFIRE'S but I wonder if Putin's fighter jets will be able to use them? Guess we will have to wait til Obama's poll numbers go up to find out what's going on. gwb

  6. TSB: Don't forget about JOE!! gwb

Earlier this year, for example, while speaking at the North American International Auto Show, he told the crowd that he “made a commitment in 1972 when I ran that I’d never own any stocks or bonds. I never have. That’s why I’m listed as the poorest guy in the Congress.”

  7. GWB: The Saudi's had better get ready. They are the Holy Grail for the Caliphate wing of ISIS, and there's a good chance they are next after the fall of Baghdad.

Khedry who 'discovered' Maliki in the first place. It details all the manipulations as we got totally played by the Iranians. But when did
overthrowing a brutal dictator ever turn into a civil war that destroys the whole area? Not Hillary! gwb

  9. Well, here is an interesting development! What if ISIS took over
Baghdad Airport on the 4th of July?

  10. GWB: Nothing is stable, at least in how we've come to use that word. Baghdad will fall. I think the questions should be, how far south can ISIS go toward Basra before being stopped by the Shia's militia and will (when) Iran intervene with large ground formations.

  11. James: Iran has announced it will intervene if the fighting gets to within 100 kilometers (62 miles) of its border. My guess is ISIS will continue to control the Sunni Triangle and not much more; then, they can get down to the usual business of fighting between factions.

Happy belated Independance Day to you. I'm on vacation and attending a family wedding, or else I'd have taken the time to recognize the 4th yesterday.

  14. I'm down to about a 5 handicap from the tournament tees, but on occasion I'll start swinging like I need a rabies shot.

  15. James: That's really funny! Rabies is a constant threat out there but on the bright side murder and suicide rates for golfers are really low. gwb

  16. GWB: Re; Rabies, on the bright side I've found veterinarians are considerably cheaper than golf teaching pros.
