This is O/T, but it's important, from the blog of Charles Crawford as to the Canadian shooting:
"Imagine what would happen if after such murders all service personnel were ordered to wear their uniforms in public as a mark of pride and respect for their fallen comrades. Yes, it would be ‘risky’. Some might even die in further Islamist murder outrages. As might civilians.

But if soldiers are not ready to take that risk, they should not be soldiers. And civilians unwilling to champion their armed forces and to take on any risks from doing so do not deserve those soldiers’ protection.

The first and last place to stand tall for one’s national values of freedom and civilisation is right out there in public, on one’s own streets."

TSB: Top reasons US Embassy Baghdad will be ISIS' next target. 1. From Embassy west it's all Sunni neighborhoods easy to infiltrate and cut off roads to airport. 2. US will fold easily and evacuate personel and protecting troops. 3. ISIS occupying the Embassy will set up months of 24 hr coverage that will end up with US having to bomb the place to rubble...the ultimate answer to the question.. Is it a Viet Nam replay?
gwb (also will make things tough for Hillary) gwb

TSB: I find this most disturbing, if you're that unhappy in your employment, there are recognized channels of grievance, don't stoop to tire slashing!

James: I'm happy, reasonably happy. But that Russkie harassment of our people in Moscow had better stop before our FBI guys go all Cold War Reloaded on the Russian diplomats we have in Washington. Which they were known to do, back in the day.

Good to see I can stell get a rise out of you, Heh.

James: Tire slashing is minor compared to what happened to that Total CEO who died after signing a $17 billion nat gas deal with Putin .. against US imposed sanctions. He was killed by a 'drunk' snow plow driver who doesn't drink! gwb

TSB: Putin gives a serious speech on what he sees as US provocations that will inevitably lead to world war. gwb

TSB: Talk about great reporting! Fisk is sitting in the Syrian General's offic interviewing him when Idlib falls and 70 of his colleagues are getting beheaded. No US reporter gets this kind of access.. or wants it. gwb
