OMG I can totally relate.

Okay, my story.

I'm overseas on a tourism trip with a longterm platonic friend. Now ex-friend. He openly jokes about getting sexy later. I try to shut that down. One evening I take a shower, get dressed, walk out of bathroom into room, exchange a few words, and leave.

During the night, I encounter a very drunk dude trying to flash some hookers. They laugh.

The next day at breakfast, a tour guide asks me about my evening. I begin telling that I was flashed. Right then my "roommate" goes nuts, telling me not to say anything. I ignore him... but... soon figure out..

He thinks the flasher I am reporting is himself... which is when I realize that when I came out of bathroom last night, he was naked and posed. And I Did Not Notice.

So I believe this story.

Going to jail for a crime the victim was unaware of, how depressing a life that guy must have!

Somebody - but not the intended flashee - must have seen enough to call the police, so there's that. But yeah, to go to jail for ATTEMPTED indecent exposure is adding insult to injury.

Despite this the Pope and Sanders did meet, the Vermont senator told AP. It happened just before Francis was leaving for a one-day visit to Greece on Saturday.

"We had an opportunity to meet with him this morning," Sanders said. "It was a real honor for me, for my wife and I to spend some time with him. I think he is one of the extraordinary figures not only in the world today but in modern world history."

Reuters confirmed the meeting citing Columbia University Professor Jeffrey Sachs, who was present a

TSB: This is a good article on the history of Puerto Rico since 1898. The best part is the 1948 changes which eliminated freedom of speech or expression with a 10 year prison term. (details below) In 6 weeks, by default there will be lots of new jobs in Puerto Rico thanks to 'PROMESA'. You start at $4.25/hr. We are getting set to enslave Puerto Rico for another 100 years. (Clintonism at it's finest!) Bernie will put a stop to this. gwb

This is perversely appropriate, and historically consistent. Back in 1948, the United States forced the Puerto Rican legislature to pass Public Law 53, a gag law that made it a felony to own a Puerto Rican flag, sing “La Borinqueña” (the Puerto Rican national anthem), utter one word against the US government, or say anything in favor of Puerto Rican independence. The punishment was 10 years imprisonment.

That same year—in 1948—Orwell wrote his totalitarian classic 1984. gwb

TSB: Nobody's gonna hack my I-phone! And Fbook keeps trying to figure out who I am. Don't tell them but I have 2 different accounts and 3 pictures. They think I'm Pepe Escobar from Chijuajua, Mexico currently living at Porter Ranch, New Mexico. It keeps the junk mail down to Aarp, Petsmart and United Healthcare. gwb (and the junk emails down to Ted Cruz)

TSB: They are having a bit of trouble voting in Brooklyn today. Not opening the polling stations for half the day and a lot of broken voting machines should help to keep the turnout down. gwb
