Dalai Lama Tactical Tip Tuesday

I like the pragmatic way The Dalai Lama deals with life. He's an absolutely peaceful guy, yet without the absolute pacifism of some moral-posturing fanatics. Call it contingent pacifism.

This is what I take away from what I've seen of his advice to his followers, as it may pertain to defensive gun use:
One should never initiate violence, that much is clear. But it is also clear that one should protect himself or others when attacked unjustly, even if the only way of doing so is to use defensive violence. The person who uses defensive violence must bear the consequences of his actions, such as the risk of taking on karmic soul-debt, but nevertheless must act if he judges that the risks are worth facing to prevent a greater evil.

So then, violence is something The Lama can understand even as he disapproves. I am completely down with that.

TSB: Great news! Since Hillary has backed out of the Debate with Bernie 'The Young Turks'have invited Donald Trump to debate Bernie in Hillary's place next week. Both campaigns are considering it. (Would the Donald ever turn down a chance to bash Hillary for free? Me thinks .. NO!) This could be great! gwb

Re: The Lama's photo.
For some odd reason it makes me think that he sitting out front of Guber's gas station on the "Andy Griffith Show" waving at passing motorists.

TSB: Trump was on Jimmie Kimmel last night and Kimmel said: "Bernie Sanders is on the show tomorrow night and I gave him one chance to ask you a question. Here it is! Would you debate him before June 7th?" "SURE! WHY NOT? LET'S DO A DEBATE AND RAISE SOME MONEY FOR CHARITY! IT'LL BE FUN AND CROOKED HILLARY MIGHT JOIN US!" Sounds like it's on! gwb

James: Naw, he's trying to show Bernie how to deal with Hillary in case she shows up at the debate with a gun. Today, in an 'In Depth Interview' with Wolf Blitzer she was asked what she thought about Trump debating Bernie? "I was told that was a joke." (she said) The look on her face was priceless! And the way the networks are talking about it none of them are expecting to get it. gwb

For the love of God and everything Holy, there must be a Trump-Sanders debate.

If they did debate that would be the end of Hillary.

James: Yeah, that was a pretty Guber-ish hand gesture. But don't underestimate the Dalai Lama's Tibetan Kung Fu. They used to be Warrior Kings.

TSB: James; I was trying to think who would would put on and moderate this debate? Trump and Bernie seem to be favoring ABC. I think they should both choose one guy and one woman to ask the questions. Bernie could choose Jenk Uger and Anna Kasparian and Trump might have Stephanopolous and some 'Latinos for Trump' hotshot. Anaheim Stadium would be a good location. gwb
