Most Eyebrow-Raising Headline of the Week

I notice they didn't buckle it into the SUV

"Yellowstone tourists put bison calf in car because they’re worried it’s cold" - East Idaho News

A father and son pulled up at the ranger station with a bison calf in their SUV. “They were demanding to speak with a ranger. They were seriously worried that the calf was freezing and dying.”

Law enforcement rangers were called and the father-and-son tourists, who were from another country, were ticketed. Rangers followed the pair back to where they had picked up the bison, and the animal was released.

TSB: It's probably just me, but those buffalo all look alike to me. I wouldn't want to be around when his mother found out! gwb Great Post to celebrate National Park History Week!

I just find it unfortunate that the mother of the calf was unaware of what happened and not allowed to let nature take it's course with these people. It's amazing how these people think that it's all Disneyland.

It was a sad outcome. But you're right, a National Park wilderness area should not be confused with a petting zoo.
