The Statement Department
"The Statement Department." I like it. It suggests an agency that makes remarks, declarations, and assertions, and reports facts and opinions.
Too bad Rev Al wasn't around when Thomas Jefferson was thinking up a name for the first federal agency.

I don't know what it is with this sudden panic about alien attacks. First it was alien-threat-as-global-economic-stimulus, and now aliens are coming to enforce Al Gore's will upon global warming skeptics.
It sounds like a summer blockbuster movie with Bruce Willis.
Now, if we could get the aliens to take Gaddafi away to a safe haven in some other galaxy beyond the reach of the World Court, then we might have something.
Good Point! Gaddafi definitely seems like an alien hybrid and I think they tried to capture Saleh but he escaped! I'm going to look for an alien-proof bunker. gwb

PS: Have you noticed that someone?? has made sure that Ron Paul is never mentioned anywhere as a potentially successful candidate? In fact, lots of the time I have trouble remembering his name! Aliens??
TSB: While thegovernment owned banks in the UK are falling off a cliff financially the government owned car company (GM.N) is now down to half the price the taxpayers need to get their $$$ back. Government Motors will be a huge success after they sell a million Chevy Volts. Demand for Volts is currently about 140 per month, so we taxpayers will have to hang in there with our investment a while longer.
