Today is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, by official resolution of the U.S. Senate. You can read the Resolution's whereas' at that link, and learn how TODASTWD "recognizes the goals of introducing our daughters and sons to the workplace" and so forth.
As someone who takes the long view of things, I feel I must point out that taking our children to work is nothing new.
At least it's only once a year now, and not every day.
