TSB: The typical NYT story that draws my attention is just a rehash of something I read about in the skeptical bureaucrat months ago... like this one from guy who wrote a book about it. I did get a pop up telling me I only have 2 more stories this month out of my allotment of 10. LOL I've probably read 20-25 stories in April! (mostly stenography from "anonymous sources".) gwb
Power, Sex and Conspiracy By JOE NOCERA Published: April 30, 2012
TSB: Some pretty interesting facts and video about the DSK affair in here. I didn't know the hotel manager was a close associate of Sarkozy. (from NYT) gwb
TSB: Only Tues. and I've got one for this week! Ron Paul wins majority delegates in: Alaska, WA, Louisiana, Iowa and almost Mass! (17-19!) That's pretty good for an invisible guy! gwb
You'd figure that Paul would clean up some of these primaries now that basically everybody else has gone home. But, it looks like he's also doing some tricky stuff with delegates, even in places where he lost (like Massachusetts).
He might/might be able to prevent Romney from getting the nomination on the first ballot.
The Unpleasant Truth About 12 More Years In Afghanistan http://bit.ly/K5o1O5 I remember the briefing we got about the army wide campaign to stop the suicide epidemic.(2009) Now a soldier or vet attempts suicide every 18 min and we have a 12 yr plan for "peace with honor"? I nominate this week's Afghan agreement for a "quadrennial eye roller award" and suggest:"We had the hubris, we had the money and we had to spend them both!" gwb

Chen Guangcheng's US-brokered deal unravels after leaving embassy (my WED nomination)
