This underscores the importance of proper attire for all occasions.

James: You're right. I suppose they had him in one of those papery hospital gowns, if anything.

TSB: I bet he was dreaming he was late for work and somebody called his cell phone. Used to happen to me all the time. Poor guy probably finally found the light switch and saw he was scheduled for a 7am autopsy. That's when you really need a cup of coffee! gwb

TSB: Re: WaPo takes Pres Obama to the woodshed "There is no sense beating on a dead horse."

To me the best thing about everything going to hell at once with nothing but more of same on the horizon is that it is going to make it a lot harder for Hillary to win against a candidate who will actually take governing seriously and avoid WWIII.
I don't see one but we can HOPE!

James: I'm with you on the attire thing. McArthur should have made sure the troops in Korea had winter clothes. And the Hukas in the Phillipines who he wrongly labeled as 'Commies' suffered thousands of beheadings because of his betrayal.
It's not in Wikipedia but it is in 'Small Wars, Faraway Places' by Michael Burleigh gwb

TSB: Obama tasks Kerry to visit Middle East
August 29, 2014 by Ahmed Hussein

Obama wants Kerry to rope together a coalition to defeat ISIS and bring it to next week's NATO SUMMIT. The 'Blurr' is in the air as we speak so we can expect 'significant progress'
by Wednesday. For his part, Obama cancelled a wedding and a couple fundraisers and will be standing by the phone. gwb

TSB: 40% of all Ebola cases have been confirmed in the past 20 days. That is called accelleration!
250 different types identified so far according to CDC. US college screening starts next week for students from Africa. But don't worry, these are the same people that told us it can't happen here.

TSB: Very good post by Anne Applebaum: http://wapo.st/1qfgp1s

Dear Anne: Thanks for the alarming view from Poland. I don't think it will take nukes to tame NATO. The EU
should suffice. Putin's troops have already disappeared from that town on the way to Mariopul and been replaced by Anti-Kiev dissidents. NATO doesn't even know which way they went. gwb

TSB: It was great to see Tom Ridge suddenly appear on cue yesterday on CNN to raise the terror level. And DiFi will be on 'Meet Me At The Press In A Red Dress'! I wonder what has her riled up? Now that Snowden says Baghdadi was trained by Mossad I'm sure they will have someone on to take that side of it.

The good news is duct tape and plastic is effective against Ebola and Burger King has moved to Canada! gwb

GWB: I'd forgotten about duct tape and plastic sheets. You're right - what's so hard about containing Ebola, at least if you have a Home Depot handy?
