Donald Trump (if that really is his name), Born in Pakistan?

Not that I think for one minute that President-Elect Trump was born in Pakistan, as this report from Neo News has it, but then, it might explain the burst of local pride in Peshawar this week.

Maybe Trump's real name was Dawood Ibrahim Khan, orphaned in Waziristan in 1954, taken to London by a kindly British Army officer, and then adopted by the Trump family a year later.

I mean, that could kind of happen, I suppose.

TSB: Cmon! It's Chinese! Trump Won! And tomorrow he meets with the Japanese Prime Minister, Abe. Unfortunately, the Japanese have been unable to determine where the meeting is going to take place cause they don't have his phone #. I guess just look for a guy at the airport holding a sign? This could be hilarious. STATE HASN'T HEARD FROM HIM EITHER! gwb

TSB: Yesterday's hearing on vulnerability to cyberattacks was particularly informative, serious and frightening as the 3 experts pretty much agreed that there is no solution for us in the next 3-4 years and we are totally vulnerable to rented botnets, the number of which is growing exponentially. As for the congressional committee questioning them, they had great questions and little capacity to understand the answers.

There was consensus that most of the important federal agencies involved would be unlikely to respond effectively because they were controlled by lobbyists and would bitterly defend their corporate turf. Everyone agreed WWIII will be won or lost by computers and we are at a huge disadvantage. (ie all the money stolen in recent weeks from Russian banks... sorry.. it's gone and nobody knows by who!) gwb

TSB: Prime Minister Abe made it to NYC! Seems like a long way to go for a 15 minute meeting to discuss TPP and paying for US Troops based in Japan. I wonder if Trump knows about Fukashima yet? gwb

Ford CEO Folds? Trump Confirms Carmaker Won't Move Production To Mexico

Just hours after Ford CEO complained of the "huge impact" of Donald Trump's proposed trade plans, following the company's plan to move a substantial portion of its passenger-car production to Mexico from a factory in Michigan, Donald Trump tweeted “Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky -- no Mexico," seemingly winning his first 'america-first' victory.
