Most Eyebrow-Raising Headline of the Week

"Clarkstown PD found 2 grenades in 91-year-old man's refrigerator" - LOHUD The Journal News

A report of explosive devices in the Tappan Zee Manor Nursing Home led to an evacuation ... the two grenades — a training hand grenade and a metal hand grenade — were removed by the county sheriff's bomb squad, who will X-Ray the devices to see if they're live grenades.

TSB;James: Yesterday my favorite assistant at work told a patient I was 88 years old when I couldn't find my clipboard. The response:
REALLY!?..He's really doing great for being that old! I would probably do the same thing as that guy if I couldn't have Keurig coffee, Doritos and salsa, ham sandwiches and fresh fruit available in the break room at all time. (Did I mention a nearby all gender bathroom?) gwb

TSB: A second official said the State Department's budget could be cut by as much as 30 percent, which would force a major restructuring of the department and elimination of programs. (Might as well start with cuts that the average lobbyist will go along with. I wonder what Hillary will say?) gwb

TSB: Great speech by the Trumpster! Plus a couple of apropo Obama residuals:
US Auto Dealers Forced To Rent First "Overflow Lots" In 37 Years Amid Inventory Glut

NY Teamsters Pension Becomes First To Run Out Of Money As Expert Warns "Pension Tsunami" Is Coming

"This is a quiet crisis, but it’s very real. There are currently 200 other plans on track for insolvency - that’s going to affect anywhere from 1.5 to 2 million people. The prognosis is bleak minus some new legislative help. Municipal and state plans are the next to go down - that’s a pension tsunami that’s coming." gwb

TSB: Obamas sign lucrative book deals with Penguin Random House; Trump signs $60 million dollar book deal; Chelsea's new book drops to
74,000 & somethingth on Amazon. Oprah wonders whether she could really be President? Bernie's also writing a book.

As a student of the daily headlines it looks to me like the book industry is in pretty desperate shape! The Skeptical Bureaucrat is a lot better deal. gwb (I've only bought 1 book since October cause the best stuff is free.)

TSB: The problem is not low wages, it's this!

And no 'conservatives',keeping the healthcare cartel in power is not going to fix it. They own you guys and the democrats too. gwb

TSB: Obama wire tapped Trump in October?? Look how long it took the Germans to catch on to that with Merkel. Now all we need to do is pin this on the guys who were on the Sunday talk shows throughout the campaign. gwb

TSB: Episode 1040 of the Keiser Report features Chris Martenson of the Peak Prosperity report. He spoke to a NASA conference on the next 100 years for NASA. He started with a picture of a bumble bee which is on the endangered species list.

NASA has figured out that there isn't one human job that can't be done in the future by a computer or robot. Martenson points out that we have already the dregs of carbon based energy supplies and we have no PLAN B.

He ends with the fact that the bumble bee is on the endangered species list and the ONLY lobbying group for saving it is the AMERICAN FARM BUREAU! = ENGINEERING HUMAN EXTINCTION! The high priestess of this operation is Janet Yellen! gwb

TSB: "Obama Bugs Trump"...Obama bugs me too!! He's been bugging me a lot ever since Obamacare.

The Daily Mail reveals the probable truth as a volley of denials comes from the White House. You can only get a warrant from a judge if there is probably cause a US citizen was engaged in illegal activity with a foreigner. That is what they will claim was going on,,, Russia meddling in US election. gwb

TSB: The Oroville Dam situation is now completely untenable and it's time for Governor Moonbeam to turn it over to the Feds. The main spillway has a huge canyon and can not be used at all for a long time. Also, the emergency spillway which was temporarily repaired has serious erosion on the lake side that will eventually undermine the whole dam. (That's why overflights of the area have been banned, because it shows from the air.) These photos from last Wednesday are very good. gwb

GWB: The Oroville Dam might be getting too much of a good thing - rain - these days, and I see that the California snowpack is at almost twice its average level right now, so the good things will keep coming. It's a mixed blessing for a semi-arid state.

On that surveillance of Trump's HQ, the Justice Dept can request a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court, which does not require any allegation of criminality. That seems to be what happened here, and not a Title 3 warrant based on probably cause of criminal acts. Suspicious people have alleged that FISA warrants are sometimes used by the FBI to do 'shadow targeting' of a U.S. person by getting a warrant to cover the communications of foreign persons with whom the U.S. person is in contact. Not that I'm suggesting former AG Loretta Lynch was a willing tool of the political interests of Obama and the Clintons, but yeah, she was.

TSB: Thanks for that! And today, the only non-sensationalist, but really good reporter on the damn situation at Oroville is repeating his warning that the dire warnings of most Utubers are doing a dire disservice to the potential victims in California. Juan Browne-aka-blancolirio says today everything is still on track. gwb
