TSB: I studied this story and I just don't get it. But I do get this one: Just last year, Memphis officials announced with fanfare that 12,000 bottles of their prized water from the Memphis Sand aquifer were being sent northward to help Flint residents.

Toxins in water under Tennessee power plant causing alarm (AP)
(testing wells around Memphis have found huge levels of arsenic and lead which may be coming from an old coal fired plant. TVA wants to cool it's nuclear plant with water coming from the same aquifer raising the question of whether cooling nuclear power plants with fresh water supplies for cities is a good idea? Obviously NO!) The payback for coal ash storage in the ground takes decades but it is big. gwb

KAuthored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,
The mainstream media’s silence over Klaus Eberwein’s death is deafening.
Eberwein was a former Haitian government official who was expected to expose the extent of Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice next week.gwb

TSB: Looks to me like the Syria cease fire is holding. For Syria and Iraq to be able to control their borders requires cooperation between Putin, Trump, Isreal,Jordan and Iran. Trump has set the stage for a showdown with the "captains of chaos" in the Defense Dept. who want the war to continue. Once Assad gets control of the Syrian oil fields and people start coming back to Aleppo, rebuilding can start and Saudi Arabia can forget about taking Syria.

TSB: DOWN goes Trumpcare! and today: Diabetes or its precursor affects 100 million Americans, according for the Centers for Disease Control. My news is this guy from New Jersey who is now running for Rep of the 14th district: https://youtu.be/3s2INSZnSA0 BRASS KNUCKLED BRAWLER running for Congress from New Jersey.

TSB: Interesing that Spain, Portugal and Italy only have 21 opioid deaths TOTAL per 100,000 population/year compared to the US which I think is the world leader. A big story in Portland is that homeless drug users are taking over little league baseball fields and leaving needles all over, thus shutting down summer activities for kids. On another note, reports are that Mexican hotels are all booked solid lately and my wife's brand new $4.5 million office complex will be 2/3 occupied by the Ford Foundation which just signed a 10 year lease for it's new headquarters. gwb

TSB: Since McCain's pathology report was due to be completed on Tuesday and their was no public announcement that indicated the results were benign I thought it indicated his melanoma had probably spread and caused the pressure on his brain over the past few months. Melanoma is a nasty and persistent cancer that kills people 5, 10 even 20 years after it is diagnosed. It seems to have become much more common since the 60's when the pollutants that attack the ozone layer were identified. The climate deniers and energy companies have played a biq role in the increases in melanoma. The FDA and other government agencies who are in the pocket of the big corporations have led people to think sunscreen will protect them...studies show it doesn't. Colorado governor just this week says fracking is making air pollution in 3 biggest Colorado cities and also in Wyoming and Montana worse than in LA. gwb

TSB: Glioblastoma: the most aggressive type of brain tumor... main known cause is prior radiation treatment..which McCain has probably had. McCain probably has a few months. If he had the Republican health plan he would only have a few weeks.gwb

Despite maximum treatment, the cancer usually recurs.[3] The most common length of survival following diagnosis is 12 to 15 months with less than 3% to 5% of people surviving longer than five years.[2][3] Without treatment survival is typically 3 months.[9] It is the most common cancer that begins within the brain and the second most common brain tumor after meningioma.[5][10] About 3 per 100,000 people develop the disease a year.[3] It most often begins around 64 years of age and occurs more commonly in males than females.[2][3] Immunotherapy is being studied in glioblastoma with promising results.

TSB: If someone would stand up and demand that Congress drop their exemption from the health care bill I think they would decide to hold some bi-partisan hearings pretty fast. This thing sure is a train wreck. gwb

TSB: It's been 2 weeks since Trump and Putin signed a cease fire for Southwest Syria and includes Jordan and the Syrian government. The story has been buried since then but I think it is working out really well. Turkey is not happy with it because in the north the ISIS types are fighting among themselves and Erdogan's favorites are getting crushed so he's getting ready to launch all out war in that area after releasing the locations of US troops all over N. Syria. Trump has been smart to leave the whole thing to the Sec. of State.
