We're Number Three!

Washington DC has been named one of the rudest cities in America, ranked according to a new Business Insider survey.

New York City takes the top spot - no surprise there - and Washington DC comes in third, behind Los Angeles and ahead of Chicago.

The Seat of Government has often been in the #3 spot (see this WaPo story from 2012), and I wonder why. Is DC really all that much ruder than most other cities? Probably it's the political animus that most Americans feel toward one or the other party in power than colors their impressions.

Come now. Can't we disagree without being disagreeable?

TSB: Not to be rude but the most important story of the Christmas season was the takedown of the entire MS-13 leadership in New York by the FBI and ICE.
Does anyone remember when trump assailed them as animals, rapists and murderers back in February and Nancy Pelosi responded furiously along with other democrats. "He must not think gang members are God's children."

MS-13 is created, supported and funded by the deep state globalists. They aren't hard to identified because they all hate Trump and his trade war. How many politicians gave Trump a high five for the takedown? Nobody I can think of. Oh! Mike Pence? The impeachment crowd is really panicked right now. Obama is even endorsing Elizabeth Warren! MS-13 is the real devil President Trump Takes Down MS-13 https://youtu.be/G2MuDbPDYew

TSB: This looks like Biden's biggest event of the day in New Hampshire on Sunday.
About 200 old white people, mostly women and maybe 20 young sleepy voters on the stage holding Biden cards. Unfortunately, 2 guys crashed the love fest and asked about him cashing out in Ukraine and worse things. Joe agreed with the worse things because he had turned his back on the guy and probably didn't hear him. Between Joe and Mayor Pete I expect Bernie to win Iowa and New Hampshire at least his 3 different rallies in Iowa this weekend were well attended and very energetic! 80% under60, lots of teens and 20-30's working class type. gwb We will find out if all publicity is good publicity.

I still don't think the Democratic Nominee will be anyone that we've seen so far.

GWB: When the Democrats finish the primaries they will have gone through over 20 candidates and spent at least $1 billion on campaigning, which makes it hard for me to believe they would give up at that point and bring in a new face (like Hillary's, who has evidently gotten a new face recently, to judge from photos). Better the devil they know.

I'll be watching to see whether Bernie can overcome the superdelegate system this time. The DNC created that after the '72 McGovern wipe-out specifically to prevent another run-away insurgent nominee, and it worked last time to keep Bernie out. Maybe this is his year?

GWB: The MS-13 thing is good news, but we'll need much, much, more like that to make a dent in that gang. They have a big presence in my region; whenever I'm out and about and see somebody with a spiderweb neck tattoo, it makes me wonder whether I need to move up to even more devastating hollowpoint +P rounds in my pistols. From the looks and the numbers of some of those boys, I may have to push the ballistic limit.

If Bernie doesn't get the nomination the hard left wing of the party will revolt openly this time. I do believe we are seeing the end of the Democratic Party as we have known it for the last 90yrs.

TSB: US led coalition tells Iraqi Government it will withdraw from Iraq out of respect for their sovereignty! (reuters) gwb
I'm glad to see Trump took my suggestion. He is now a shoe in for re-election!

James: Bernie might well be the Democrat's Bob "he's old and it's his turn and who cares if he loses" Dole this time around. But Biden is putting up a fight. Watch to see if other Democrats start dropping Ukraine bombs on Biden; that would be a clue which side they're taking.

GWB: We just might finally leave Iraq; plus, the Taliban say they're ready for peace talks, too. It could be a double win for Donald "disproportionate retaliation" Trump.
