It took about 20 minutes to burn, he said. The family said some last words, and one crew member read a nautically themed Alfred Lord Tennyson poem, "Crossing the Bar"

TSB: I'm waiting for James to research on Viking Funerals and music but I think this is also eyebrow raising:
This is starting to remind me of Viet Nam. Think of the stuff they could pull at the sight of US sadism and torture. Sounds like the Iraqi's just gave up. gwb
TSB: Ok, I might as well admit it. I almost had a Viking Funeral. It was Sept 4, 2003 and I was madly in love with this 'Viking Princess'. It was our 1st meeting and the event was a Viking Home Made River Raft contest in Warden, Wa. The Princess wanted nothing to do with me and abandoned our 'Old Farts' raft the 1st time it tipped over. We finished last/almost dround/froze and drank way to much beer. Never more fun and humiliation! Of course, we've been great friends ever since and she ended up with a Finn! gwb
That's a very informative piece by Amb. Hill TSB! It looks like in today's State Dept. almost anyone could be Ambassador to Iraq because the idiots who are running things don't bother you very often and the Iraqi's just consider you a nuisance. gwb
GWB: I don't remember this topic of UFOs and nukes, but, you do realize RT is a Russian site, so there is probably a KGB-UFO alliance that's working to attack our missiles. Would that be so strange? Doesn't Putin even resemble an ET just a bit? What are the odds that he was even born on this planet?
TSB: That's just the 1st month. Then it's 4.95 unless you cancel. I'll cancel and then come back later on my wife's computer. You are right about Putin possibly being an alien. Thanks to James I now realize that Turkey doesn't want to help the Kurds fight ISIS. And what about Merkel sending troops to E.Ukraine? gwb

James: Ok brainiac, what's the verdict?

A subscription to The Independent is only 99 cents? Now, that's a paywall I like.
