Well it is the French as P J Oroarke said "The French: they're always there when they need you."
They're probably wondering whether they need another Biden visit, after that display of confusion.
That's for the French to decide ( as only they can).
I have to say that the looks on the faces of Macron and especially his wife (and once upon a time his high school teacher) were priceless. Mixes of concern, confusion, embarrassment, and who knows what else.
But not humor. If only their favorite American comic - Jerry Lewis - were alive today to do a Biden impersonation, the Macrons would have been rolling in the aisles.

The French couldn't get enough of Jerry Lewis. This really would have been the perfect moment for him. A movie like "The Wacky President" would clean up.
