Stranger things have happened. Thomas Sowell has been the economic-political gateway drug for David Mamet (here, in which Sowell is "our greatest contemporary philosopher") among many others, so why not for Mike Tyson?
I hope Mike can disagree with an intellectual opponent without inflicting mayhem on him, but if so, it wouldn't be for the first time because I think I recall that felony mayhem was actually one of the charges brought against him for biting Holyfield's ear off.
Still, how much sympathy should we have for someone who gets into any kind of conflict with Tyson?
And now that I think about it, how do we know that Aristotle didn't employ a mace or battle-ax or whatever to intimidate HIS intellectual opponents?
'The pen is mightier than the sword' they say, but has anyone who says that ever tried using a sword to back up his pen? Maybe you can settle more arguments with a pen and a sword than you can with a pen alone.
I'll have to ask Tyson about that if I ever find myself in the intellectual ring with him.

I understand that Mike is somewhat difficult to argue with!
Philosophy discussions with Mike can be problematic!

Tyson's reply to " to be or not to be" is short and eloquent in it's own way!
