Hillary is Guilty (193 Classified Emails According to DOJ), Stop Pretending Otherwise

And she got away with it scot-free. Isn't that enough?

Now stop the whining and just hope that FBI Director Patel will be too busy elsewhere to look into that cold case.

As The Trumpening Gets Closer, Hillary Sees Hitler Yet Again

Hillary's latest all-my-enemies-are-Hitler screed is so profoundly boring because she, like most other U.S. politicians for the last eight decades, has been seeing Hitler wherever she looks.

The WaPo ran a nice piece ten years ago about some of those prior occasions.

That guy has been everywhere some actual or would-be President has wanted to see him: in Russia, Iraq (on multiple occasions), Serbia, Syria, Vietnam, even Nicaragua. It's a regular Where's Waldo? for lazy pols and voters who lack any real historical appreciation.

Honestly, she ought to try seeing some other looming figure of all-encompassing evil now and then, just for a change of pace.

And her Madison-Square-Garden-as-Hitler's-playground is an even more ridiculous stretch. MSG has held every type of political event you can imagine including Democrat and Republican nominating conventions.

If you want to hate on MSG do it because Billy Joel played 150 concerts there. But give the Hitler fantasies a rest.

Hillary Is No Stranger To Paranoid Conspiracy Mongering

It's no surprise, but Hillary Diane Rodham (and sometimes) Clinton is again raging about mis-dis-and-mal information, all of it targeted on her personally.
“I anticipate there will be a full-court press in October,” she said. “The digital airwaves will be filled. And why does that matter? Because the press that is pro-Trump anyway — oftentimes stories are put on digitally that then are picked up by, let’s say, at Fox and others. And then those stories are stories, so the mainstream press reports on them, and so that story then takes on a life of its own.”
Readers who were around during the Clinton Administration may recall that Hillary was exactly as paranoid then about unseen media influencers as she is now.

Don't take my word for that. Please see this 2014 article from the left-wing Mother Jones that served up a retrospective about Hillary's fabulistic exposure of the "communications stream of conspiracy commerce" that bedeviled her back then:
In a 1995 internal memo, President Bill Clinton’s White House Counsel’s Office offered an in-depth analysis of the right-wing media mill that Hillary Clinton had dubbed the “vast right-wing conspiracy.” Portions of the report, which was reported on by the Wall Street Journal and other outlets at the time, were included in a new trove of documents released to the public by the Clinton presidential library on Friday.
The report traced the evolution of various Clinton scandals, such as Whitewater and the Gennifer Flowers affair allegations, from their origins at conservative think tanks or in British tabloids, until the point in which they entered the mainstream news ecosystem. Making matters even more complicated was new technology, the report explained: “[E]vidence exists that Republican staffers surf the internet, interacting with extremists in order to exchange the ideas and information.” The administration even had a name for the process: “The Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce.”
You can read the whole crazy memo here

If Trump wins, I expect Hillary to go full Captain Queeg, complete with a strawberry statement:

Ahh, but the stories! That’s – that’s where I had them. Fox laughed at me and made memes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with – digital logic – that Russians with a key to the Trump voters DID exist! And I’d have PRODUCED that key if they hadn’t’ve conceded the election on me!

Really, that won't be far to fall from the state that she's in now.

She's Looked at Policing Speech From Both Sides Now

Posts and posts of dis info
Mocking memes and hurty mots
And Trumpy GIFs from right-wing bros
I’ve looked at X that way
But now they only break the law
They need indictments, gags galore!
So many things I would have done
But civil rights got in my way

You can depend on Hillary to blurt out loud what more emotionally balanced politicians will keep to themselves and their inner monologues.

Why stop at censorship when you can arrest your political foes?

"Help Me, Help Me, Aaron Sorking, You're My Only Hope!"

The present moment calls for the fastest-talking re-write man in the business, if Hillary is going to make a convincing case at the Democratic nominating convention next month.

By an amazing coincidence, that man has a piece in the NYT today.

Sure, she and Bill immediately made a ritual endorsement of Kamala right after the Biden news broke, but NEVER count the Lady Macbeth of Little Rock out, not when political death is on the line.

Get a preview of how she might handle the opportunity Joe Biden just handed her here: what would happen in The West Wing's parallel universe?

Hillary Braces For Her Longest Day

That day will be November 5, 2024, henceforth to be known as D-for-Democracy Day. But, of course, only if you vote Hillary's way. You wouldn't want to frustrate democracy by voting for the wrong candidate.

If democracy will be on the ballot, is it even possible to vote against it? That seems illogical.

I'd ask Hillary about that myself except she limits who may reply to her posts to people she follows or mentions. Evidently democracy is so important that it must be protected by prior restraint of speech.

Hillary's tin ear for rhetoric is still as bad as ever, despite having been in politics basically all her life. She didn't even learn anything from the long decades she understudied the Glibmaster-in-Chief himself, Bill Clinton.

Speaking of Bill, where is he in this final battle for big "D" democracy? I do hope he hasn't dodged the draft again.

HRC and The Cherished Legal Principle of 'Id Quod Circumiret, Circumveniat'

So Trump has been convicted for miscategorizing as legal expenses what DA Bragg considered to be campaign expenses, which is some sort of a crime in New York state.

Hey, remember when Hillary and the DNC committed the very same violation and in the very same state? Sure, it was in the news back in 2022 when the Federal Election Commission fined them both a bit over $100,000.
Political candidates and groups are required to publicly disclose their spending to the FEC, and they must explain the purpose of any specific expenditure more than $200. The FEC concluded that the Clinton campaign and DNC misreported the money that funded the [Russian] dossier, masking it as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” instead of opposition research.
That was just a fine, whereas New York County DA Alvin Bragg is going for a jail sentence in Trump's case. (Jail is probably too much of a stretch, but if that happens, the campaign rally he'll hold in the yard at Riker's Island will be the political event of all time.)

However, this all leaves me unsatisfied. We are told again and again that no one is above the law even as many people are very obviously above the law, and that very definitely includes Hillary with her 193 classified emails among the 50,000 or so that she hid from FOIA public disclosure by illegally doing all her official SecState email business on an unauthorized private server.

That's a lot of laws that were broken, and with no legal consequence whatsoever.

What do you want to bet that, if Trump returns to the Oval Office, his first step after cutting off his ankle monitor might be to have the DOJ prosecute Hillary for those grave election offenses that she committed back in 2016?

Well, isn't there a statue of limitations that has run out by now? Yes, there is. But DA Bragg didn't let that stop him in Trump's case, and I think Trump could find someone equally ruthless to bring justice to HRC.

It's an election year, after all. Let's make it interesting.

HRC: Don't Hate Me For Not Being Perfect

We've all heard that Hillary Diane Rodham (and sometimes) Clinton wakes up some mornings in a puddle of dried vomit after self-medicating with a couple boxes of chardonnay. It's so sad. Let's hope she'll get the professional help she needs.

Well, I don't know that about the vomit for a fact, but it's a good guess given the tone of her remarks in a NYT interview published today. For instance, consider this remarkable neurotic loop:
And in a blunt reflection about the role sexism played in her 2016 presidential campaign, she said women were the voters who abandoned her in the final days because she was not “perfect.”
She blames women voters for demanding the impossible of her. This is her latest avoidance of reality, after she first blamed the scary Russians and their obvious agents of influence consisting of two female candidates in 2016, Green Party nominee Jill Stein and Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard.

(That's particularly rich about the Green Party. I mean, they're even more minor than the Libertarians. It's a fourth party at best. Stein got 1.07 percent of the popular vote and no Electoral College delegates in 2016. But Hillary, in her obsessive need to blame anyone else for her own failure, accuses even Stein of being a willing tool of Putin in his nefarious schemes to keep Hillary from being elected President.)

She accepts no blame for herself, needless to say. Watch her "Russians! Russians! Russians!" interview here.

Hillary's mental health crisis will be on full display as we enter the final stretch to election 2024.  So long as she has media access and there are wine stores that deliver, she'll be treating her fans to prize displays of blame-shifting such as the New York Times saw today.

A Bit Strong, IMHO, Protestor Tells HRC "You Will Burn!"

They were escorted out. Proving once again the '60s wisdom, "step out of line, the Man come and take you away" (Buffalo Springfield, For What It's Worth, 1967).

Sadder But (Maybe) Wiser, HRC's Seminar Students Give Her a Poor Review

HRC word cloud - WaPo (2015)

What's with kids today? Some disappointed students took to the news media this week to criticize Hillary Clinton for putting on an "uninspiring class" at Columbia University, and also "failing to loosen up" (sic, really? Loosen up? Hillary?).

You can read about it here. Some choice quotes:
The student said it felt like Clinton became less relatable as the semester continued.
-- snip --
The student said she believed Clinton could have "been more honest" with the students.
"Usually whenever you start to… get to know [politicians] more on a personal basis, you start to like them a little bit more because they become more humanized. Over the course of the semester, though, I feel like Hillary Clinton became more of a politician than she was at the end."
I'm shaking my head ruefully. She thought Hillary would be relatable and honest? Has it been her experience that politicians become humanized when you sit in a chair and listen to them?

Those students could have saved themselves whatever money Colombia charged them for that seminar if they had just done a careful read of the word cloud above. You see how the words UNETHICAL and LIES stand out? That's how WaPo readers saw HRC when she was running for President.

She hasn't gotten any better behaved or more honest since then. Today you'd probably find BITTER in the center of that cloud, but no other changes.

Write it off, you naïve college kids. Consider yourselves lucky to have learned a big life lesson early.

She Used Her Personal Phone and Email For Official Business to Avoid Openness and Accountability?

Well, well, well. What's all this then?

High government officials doing their official business over personal phones and personal email to avoid freedom of information laws, that's what. And in the case of fleeting PM Liz Truss - the Queen Slayer - that evasion may come back to bite her.

Truss evidently lacks Hillary's willingness to simply lie and deny when caught breaking the law

It seems they have a lot to learn about modern democracy over there.

HRC Had Exactly 193 More Than Zero Emails That Were Classified

"The fact is that I had zero emails that were classified."

Oh, really? The FBI and the DOJ Inspector General have shown otherwise. So did the IGs at DOS and the Intelligence Community as long ago as 2014. In fairness, there was some back-and-forth over details at first – such as whether the emails were classifiable at the time they were drafted or only became classifiable later – and there was quibbling, such as Senator Feinstein’s excuse that Hillary didn’t send any of the classified emails that she received on her personal server, but all that dust had settled by 2018 when the DOJ Inspector General issued a 500-page report that is the last word on the matter of Hillary’s emails.

Specifically, that last word was: “193 individual emails that were classified from the CONFIDENTIAL to TOP SECRET levels at the time the emails were drafted on UNCLASSIFIED systems and sent to or from Clinton’s personal server … Seven of the 81 email chains contained information associated with a Special Access Program (“SAP”).”

The OIG report even quotes former FBI official Peter Strzok, whose utter hated of Trump is beyond question, as noting that the FBI’s belated discovery of emails which had classification markings on them disproves Hillary’s flat denial that she had ever received material that was marked classified.

Here’s the key passage from that DOJ report, on pages 74 and 75:

None of the emails, including those that were found to contain classified information, included a header or footer with classification markings. As we discuss further in Chapter Seven, this absence of clear classification markings played a significant role in the decision by the Midyear prosecutors to recommend to Attorney General Lynch in July 2016 that the investigation should be closed without prosecution. According to the LHM [the FBI’s closing Letterhead Memorandum (LHM) summarizing the Clinton email server investigation], the FBI, with the assistance of other USIC [U.S. Intelligence Community] agencies, identified “81 email chains containing approximately 193 individual emails that were classified from the CONFIDENTIAL to TOP SECRET levels at the time the emails were drafted on UNCLASSIFIED systems and sent to or from Clinton’s personal server.” In other words, the USIC agencies determined that these 81 email chains, although not marked classified, contained information classified at the time the emails were sent and should have been so marked. Twelve of the 81 classified email chains were not among the 30,490 that Clinton’s lawyers had produced to the State Department, and these were all classified at the Secret or Confidential levels. Seven of the 81 email chains contained information associated with a Special Access Program (“SAP”), which witnesses told us is considered particularly sensitive. The emails containing Top Secret and SAP information were included in the 30,490 provided to the State Department.

In June 2016, near the end of the investigation, investigators found three email chains, consisting of eight individual emails, that “contained at least one paragraph marked ‘(C),’ a marking ostensibly indicating the presence of information classified at the CONFIDENTIAL level.” According to a June 13, 2016 text message exchange between Strzok and Page, the emails containing the “(C)” portion markings were part of the 30,490 that Clinton’s attorneys had provided to the State Department in 2014 but the FBI did not notice them until June 2016 after the IC IG discovered them. By that point in time, as discussed in Chapter Six below, Comey had been drafting his statement announcing the closing of the investigation. Strzok wrote to Page that “DoJ was Very Concerned about this .... Because they’re worried, holy cow, if the fbi missed this, what else was missed?” Strzok further wrote, “No one noticed. And while minor, it cuts against ‘I never send or received anything marked classified.’” According to the prosecutors, Mills, Abedin, and Jake Sullivan were each parties to at least one email in the chains with the (C) markings. However, none of them were ever asked about the emails, because the FBI had not discovered the markings before their interviews and did not seek to reinterview them.

Oh yes, the little "(C)" marking. Bill Clinton, in a rare wingman role, once tried to explain that away.

Here's a link to the report, "A Review of Various Actions by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice in Advance of the 2016 Election" dated June 2018.

So she did have emails on her private server that were classified, all the way up to the TS and SAP levels. That is a fact, and by now it's old news.

How does Hillary expect to get away with denying that reality today, you might wonder? Well, the same way she has always gotten away with it in the past. Deny, deny, deny, and wait for your embarrassed voters and supporters to drop the subject.

There must be a reason why hardly anyone names their daughter Hillary anymore. See this WaPo story for a chart that shows the popularity of the name taking a drastic nosedive in 1992. That was the same year Bill Clinton first ran for President and the American public were introduced to the Lady Macbeth of Little Rock. The Ozark Evita.

Possibly the name suffers from the moral exhaustion that comes from ignoring Hillary’s endless lies and prevarications. Don’t take my word for it; even her supporters can only shake their heads sadly when her lies run up against an IG report, as they have done before.

How does she keep getting away with it? I suppose, like Bill Clinton, her superpower is the ability to make other people lower their standards.

It’s never really politically convenient to hold either of them to account, so Official Washington and its news media establishment will only shake their heads yet again and move on.

Mark Twain, a Notorious Radical From Way Back

Good luck finding that novel in your local high school library or curriculum (here's why), and never mind what you may have once been taught about moral inversion characters in American literature.

Hemingway once said "all modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called [Redacted, until I clear the rest of that sentence with Miss Dismal]," but then he is also under suspicion today, to say the least.

As for Mark Twain, or whatever his real name may be, he was exactly the kind of irreverent and unpatriotic scoundrel that DHS would have policed right out of our marketplace of ideas. Read him on the Spanish-American War or the American Indian, for instance, or just see this

Our contemporary mis, dis, and mal information is actually kind of tame by comparison.

Trump Files Civil Suit Against Hillary and a Couple Dozen Others

Filed today in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Trump v. Hillary Clinton et al, asking for damages with a RICO kicker.

All those defendants "orchestrated a malicious conspiracy to disseminate patently false and injurious information about Donald J. Trump and his campaign, all in the hopes of destroying his life, his political career and rigging the 2016 Presidential Election in favor of Hillary Clinton" for starters.

Hillary Co-Wrote a Novel, Sort Of

Her first foray into fiction.

Why does she lead with her chin like that? After 60 years in politics has she really never developed better instincts?

Watch While Hillary Says "the Russians" Three Times in Twenty Seconds

For fans of Hillary, you can watch the full Instagram video here.

By the way, Hillary misspoke about those Congressional briefings. According to CNN, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has informed members of Congress that "the ODNI will primarily meet its obligation to keep Congress fully and currently informed leading into the Presidential election through written finished intelligence products" instead of in-person briefings, in order to ensure the briefings are not misunderstood or politicized, or selectively leaked.

I never feel at all sorry for Bill Clinton, but if I ever were to, this would be the time. Buster Keaton knew what I'm talking about.

Help Hillary Name Her Podcast

Yes, she's doing it, starting a podcast. Here's the news from Politico yesterday:
The yet-to-be-titled show will be co-produced by audio giant iHeartMedia, which produces original content such as Will Ferrell’s “The Ron Burgundy Podcast,” and, through iHeartRadio, is also a major distributor for the biggest names in conservative talk radio. They include a who’s who of right-wing commentators who have pilloried Clinton and her family over the years: Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, and Sean Hannity. The Joe Rogan Experience, whose host recently endorsed Bernie Sanders, is one of iHeartRadio’s most popular shows.

I'll be the first to subscribe to that. But, yet to be titled? We cannot allow that to stand. I don't know if Hillary is open to suggestions from the public, but these are mine.
  • The Mellifluous Voice of Hillary Diane Rodham (and Sometimes) Clinton
  • I Have No Recollection, but I Do Have This Podcast
  • How Come No One Names Their Kid “Hillary“ Anymore?
  • Bitter BlackBerries
  • HRC Interviews Some of the People Who Should Answer For What They Did to Me
  • HRC / DC
  • Hillary Unchained (Freedom’s Just Another Word For Nothing Left to Lose)
  • Uncorked, Self-Medicated, and Ready To Talk and Talk and Talk
  • Straight Outta' Chappaqua
  • I Coulda’ Been a Contender
  • I Coulda' Been Somebody
  • Instead of a Bum, Which is What I Am

A podcast like that is exactly what we need in these trying times. Nothing but great info and entertainment can possibly come out of this new HRC initiative.

All Right Mister DeMille, I'm Ready For My Presidential Portrait

Is that the way Hillary will end up? It's a distinct possibility, I think, after today's odd, and oddly disturbing, outburst of delusional accusations against Tulsi Gabbard:
Hillary Clinton said that Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is being groomed by Moscow to run as a third-party spoiler candidate in 2020 to help President Trump win reelection.

The former secretary of state pushed the theory on Campaign HQ podcast hosted by David Plouffe, President Barack Obama’s campaign manager in 2008.

Plouffe and Clinton discussed hurdles the Democratic nominee would face and compared the 2020 race to Clinton’s loss to Trump in 2016. Plouffe asked Clinton about the part third-party candidates, such as Jill Stein of the Green Party, played in 2016, allowing Trump to secure key states.

"They are also going to do third party again," Clinton, 71, said. "I'm not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate," Clinton said, referring to Gabbard, without mentioning the Hawaii representative by name.

"She is a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That's assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.

A 38 year-old Congressional Representative who challenges Hillary's world, however slightly, is a "Russian asset?" And she's not the only one. There are others!

Assuming Hillary isn't merely trying to divert attention from the latest HRC e-mail security violation news, that's enough to make you wonder about cognitive decline.

You can hear Hillary on the Campaign HQ podcast here.

Well, if that is how Hillary finally goes down, I just hope she goes full Gloria Swanson.

I can’t go on with this press conference, I’m too happy. Mr. DeMille, do you mind if I say a few words? Thank you. I just want to tell you all how happy I am to be back in the White House making policy again. You don’t know how much I’ve missed all of you. And I promise you I’ll never desert you again because after 2020 we’ll hold another election and another election. You see, this is my life. It always will be. There’s nothing else. Just us, the cameras, and those wonderful voters out there in the dark! … All right, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my Presidential portrait.

HRC - Baby, Baby, Baby, You're Out of Time

"I mean, obviously I can beat him again.”

Oh, obviously. But then, she didn’t conduct that PBS interview from the White House, did she?

By all means, yes, beat him again. But Hillary had better hurry if she intends to beat him in 2020, since the deadlines for filing and getting on ballots will soon be here. The first Democratic primary event will take place in Iowa on February 3, 2020. New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina also hold primaries in February, and Super Tuesday will be on March 3, 2020.

The much bigger problem for Hillary is that, this time, there are other Democrats already running. About 19 others as of today. All those who would have run a couple election cycles ago just for the name recognition and favor-trading needed to climb the slippery pole. Except they didn't, because ClintonWorld kept them away from challenging Hillary's manifest destiny.

What Democrats ran against Hillary for the nomination last time? In the debates she faced Bernie, a rare quasi-Democrat who did not need ClintonWorld approval because he wasn't actually a Democrat but an Independent until he filed to run, and who went back to being an Independent as soon as the primary season was over. There was Martin O’Malley, ex-Governor of Maryland and ex-Major of Baltimore, essentially forgettable. There was Lincoln Chafee, a former Republican U.S. Senator and Governor of Rhode Island, who became a Democrat only in 2013 and whose most distinctive position was to advocate for conversion to the Metric system. And there was Jim Webb, a former Reagan Navy Secretary and U.S. Senator from Virginia, who dropped out of the Democratic race even before the primaries began because he was "not comfortable" and "unhappy" with the party's political positions.

That’s not the Democrat’s A-Team. The A-team, and the B and C teams, didn’t dare get in Hillary’s way back when ClintonWorld was a powerful, and vengeful, force. But now Hillary is reduced to hawking cut-and-paste books, and no one is afraid of her or Bill.

At times like this, you need the wisdom of the Rolling Stones.

You don't know what's going on,
You've been away for far too long,
You can't come back and think you are still mine.
You're out of touch, my baby,
My poor discarded baby,
I said, baby, baby, baby, you're out of time.

It's the truth. You can't come back and be the first in line, oh no. You're obsolete, my baby, my poor old fashioned baby.

Beat a Dead Horse Much?

Yes, she did it. What are you gonna do about it?

Judicial Watch, the activist group that has filed endless FOIA requests about Hillary Clinton, is still hot on the trail, the years-old trail, of Secretary Clinton's use of a personal email server for all of her official business communications, which, obviously, she did for the purpose of evading FOIA and possible public disclosure of her messages.

Judical Watch's masthead says "because no one is above the law!," but you might think they'd know better by now. She got away with it. Don't try this at home. Too big to jail. Different spanks for different ranks. Terms and conditions apply to that bromide about "the law."

But no, on May 9, 2019, Judicial Watch got the retired Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security during Hillary's tenure in office, Eric Boswell, under deposition. It went like this:
Q Okay. Do you know if any of your employees -- any of your immediate staff used personal email to conduct government business?

A I don't know.

Q Did you ever have to deal with that issue during your tenure?

A Yes. The Bureau of Diplomatic Security more than once I think issued reminders to people not to do that.

Q Did you ever --

A In fact, I think the Secretary of State sent one, at least one, Department notice about -- warning people about doing that.

Wow, you caught her, Judicial Watch! She's a total hypocrite. Now what?

Now nothing, except putting the deposition on your website while the rest of us go about our business back here in the year 2019.
